About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Benevolent Society. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized plans to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Deliver occupational therapy services, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatments, in a variety of settings, including clients' homes and community settings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Develop and implement client plans, ensuring effective monitoring and reviews.
  • Liaise with medical and allied health professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Coach and advise team members and carers on best practices and strategies for supporting clients.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and workshops to promote socialization and skill-building.
  • Attend meetings and maintain accurate documentation to ensure high-quality care and support.

Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Passion for supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Current driver's license (pool cars provided).
