Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Strategic Market Making Leader to join our team at TMGM. This role is crucial in driving the development, implementation, and management of systematic market-making strategies across various financial markets.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per yearAbout the Role

The Strategic Market Making Leader will lead the development of algorithmic trading strategies that provide liquidity and capture spreads in the market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategy Development and Optimization
  • Design and refine market-making strategies, working closely with the team to create and enhance algorithms.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the use of statistical models, machine learning, and quantitative analysis to create and improve strategies.
  • Risk Management
  • Establish and enforce robust risk management parameters tailored to market-making activities, balancing liquidity provision with acceptable risk levels.
  • Maintain close oversight of inventory positions, market exposure, and potential adverse events, ensuring risk limits are respected.
  • Technology and Infrastructure Management
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to develop and maintain ultra-low latency trading infrastructure.
  • Oversee the fine-tuning of algorithms to reduce latency, enhance execution quality, and minimize slippage.
  • Research and Innovation
  • Stay up-to-date on developments in trading technology, market structure, and regulatory changes.
  • Promote experimentation with new data sources and technologies to enhance strategy performance.
