About the Role

HammondCare is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide essential care and support to older adults in their homes. As a Specialised Carer, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Assist with transportation to appointments and shopping
  • Support with medication management

Requirements

  • Reliable and patient individual with a strong ability to build rapport with clients
  • Previous experience in aged or community care is an asset, but not required
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred, but not necessary

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate of $29.56 to $32.45, plus 99c/km and paid travel time
