About the Role

HammondCare At Home is expanding its services and seeking several permanent part-time Specialised Carers to provide support to clients across the Northern Melbourne suburbs.

As a Specialised Carer, you will provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing
  • Helping with household tasks, such as meal preparation and light house cleaning
  • Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
  • Assisting with medication
Requirements
  • You can relate to people and are patient and solutions-focused
  • You may have previous experience in aged or community care or are looking to start your career in aged care
  • You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum Third Party Property Insurance)
  • Ideally, you will have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • You will be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
Benefits
  • $29.56 to $32.45 per hour, plus 99c/km and paid travel time
  • Full training is provided to all Care Workers, no experience is necessary
