Job Opportunity:

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to lead a collaborative network of leading cardiovascular researchers and institutions across NSW.
  • This role is pivotal in fostering partnerships, managing research grants, and delivering strategic initiatives that build research capacity in cardiovascular health.

About the Role:

  • To oversee the day-to-day operations of our collaborative network, ensuring effective management and delivery of high-quality projects and initiatives.
  • To foster partnerships with leading cardiovascular researchers and institutions to advance research in heart health, leveraging strong relationships and negotiation skills.
  • To develop and implement research strategies to build research capacity in cardiovascular health, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • To administer research grants and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation, adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in medical research, health, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the health and medical research landscape in NSW and Australia.
  • Strong knowledge of project management, grant administration, or research strategy development, with experience in stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
  • Excellent organisational and event management capabilities, with attention to detail and strong communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
