Job Opportunity

As a key player in fostering partnerships and managing research grants, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a collaborative network of leading cardiovascular researchers and institutions across NSW. This role is pivotal in driving meaningful impact in cardiovascular research.

You will work closely with stakeholders, including government agencies, research organisations, and industry leaders, to develop and manage research grant programs, ensuring transparent processes and peer review. Additionally, you will provide secretariat support to executive committees and Rising Stars Sub-Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stakeholder engagement and strategic initiatives for the CVRN.
  • Develop and implement operational plans, including capacity-building workshops and networking events.
  • Organise annual Showcase & Ministerial Awards Ceremony.
  • Foster collaboration between NSW research institutions, government agencies, and academic bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

About You

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in medical research, health, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of health and medical research landscape in NSW and Australia.
  • Experience in project management, grant administration, or research strategy development.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
