Job Summary:

As a Food Service Assistant at Amentum, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food services. Your responsibilities will include assisting in meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in Meal Preparation: You will help with tasks like chopping vegetables, making salads, and assembling entrees.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: This includes keeping the kitchen area clean, sanitizing equipment, and handling dishwashing.
  • Inventory Control: You will receive and stock food supplies as needed.
  • Serving Customers: You will deliver food and beverage orders promptly.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: You will adhere to regulations for food safety and hygiene.
  • Setup and Cleanup: You will assist with preparing and cleaning dining areas.
  • Customer Service: You will provide excellent service and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Ideally, you have experience in food service or a related field.
  • Kitchen Skills: You will need to follow instructions and safely operate kitchen equipment.
  • Hygiene Knowledge: You will need to understand hygiene and food safety rules.
  • Physical Stamina: The job involves standing, lifting heavy items, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: You will need to have excellent customer service and communication skills.
