Job Summary

The Multi-skilled Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment on various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, construction, structures, concrete, and miscellaneous operations;
  • Ensure consistent operation according to manufacturer's specifications and optimal work performance;
  • Conduct daily checks and maintain records of any defects or issues;
  • Maintain all plant and equipment in good working condition, with accurate record-keeping and prompt notification to the workshop team;
  • Install and maintain proper signage during roadworks;
  • Accurately complete timesheets, plant sheets, and check sheets on a daily basis;
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, including quantities, chainages, and work categories;
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe workplace camp;
  • Collaborate as part of a multi-skilled workforce and perform tasks such as laboring as required by operational activities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

Primary work duties are performed outdoors, regularly exposed to changing weather conditions. The role requires adaptability to outdoor environments, particularly in hot and humid climates. It also demands physical capability to perform manual labor tasks requiring full human movement range, such as climbing, lifting, bending, pushing, squatting, reaching, and stretching.
