Site Manager Role

As a Site Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead site-based construction activities, managing subcontractors, trades, and materials. You will maintain strong rapport with subcontractors, approachable yet firm in ensuring accountability. Key responsibilities include overseeing all site-based construction activities, conducting and leading weekly subcontractor coordination meetings, implementing and enforcing certified safety management systems, coordinating inspections, safety walks, and ensuring site compliance with WHS legislation.

About this role:

  • Lead subcontractor teams
  • Drive short-term programming and daily scheduling
  • Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and quality control
  • Deliver structural builds (1-2 storey) and various project types with confidence

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects
  • Strong knowledge of WHS practices and experience working under a certified safety system
  • Good communicator who builds positive, productive relationships with subcontractors and consultants
  • Diverse project experience across sectors such as education, aged care, light industrial, or community
  • Experience delivering structural components (concrete, steel, timber - 1-2 storey structures)
  • Short-term programming and trade sequencing experience essential
