We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining a safe and welcoming school community.

Brisbane Central State School has a rich history dating back to 1875, making it one of the oldest state schools in Queensland. This is a progressional position that offers opportunities for growth and development. As a Schools Officer, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance of facilities, including buildings, environment, and classrooms. You will also deliver and collect mail, parcels, and documents, record and deliver messages, print and photocopy, and perform other administrative tasks as required.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members. A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential requirements for this role.

We require the following qualifications and skills:

  • Current Queensland Government employee eligible to apply
