About the Role

As a Schools Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day running of the school's facilities and grounds.

  • Maintaining facilities and grounds is a crucial aspect of this role. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the school are clean, tidy and well-maintained.
  • You will work closely with staff to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
  • Assisting with cleaning duties, waste collection and disposal, and security tasks are also key responsibilities of this role.

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where no two days are ever the same. This is an OO2 progression position, with eligibility for progression to OO3 once specific criteria are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect mail, parcels and documents
  • Prepare classrooms and activity/assembly halls for examinations and events
  • Maintain various registers and stocktake equipment and assets
  • Assist with cleaning duties, waste collection and disposal, and security tasks
