Job Description

Guma-Warnii is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Advisor to join their Procurement Team in the Perth CBD.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and procurement expertise to support the construction of Rio Tinto's iron ore projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team to administer the EPCM agreement, conduct front-end Pre Award activities, and negotiate with contractors. Strong commercial acumen and ability to think independently are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the EPCM agreement
  • Conduct front-end Pre Award activities
  • Negotiate with contractors
  • Source and implement master services agreements (panel contracts), construction, supply, and consultancy contracts
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in contracts
  • Focus on delivering construction projects safely in the Pilbara region
  • Prior experience working for a Tier One iron ore company
  • Pre Award experience
  • Tendering, evaluation, contract drafting, and negotiation experience
Working Conditions

This is a FIFO position based in Perth, and candidates must reside within Western Australia due to the requirements of the role. No interstate flights are covered.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
