Procurement and Governance Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic Procurement and Governance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will drive social value initiatives and ensure procurement activities align with our governance standards and corporate responsibilities.***

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies that promote social value, governance, and ethical sourcing.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainable and inclusive procurement practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and best practices within the procurement and governance framework.
- Provide expertise on market trends, supplier engagement, and risk management to support the organisation's objectives.
- Monitor and report on the impact of social procurement activities and governance measures.***

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A degree and/or professional qualification in Law, Finance, Management, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, with a focus on social value, governance, or similar fields.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse supplier relationships.
- Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of ethical procurement practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across multiple business units.
