About Our North West Kidney Service

We invite you to experience the diverse world of kidney care in rural and remote Queensland. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, your role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced leadership relevant to kidney transplantation.

Our service offers various models of kidney care. You will have the opportunity to work with our team to create pathways for better health outcomes in our North West communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership in the development of best practice kidney care models.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance professional skills.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field and registration as a nurse practitioner.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or enrollment in a postgraduate program are desirable.
  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted.
