Production Supervisor Role

We are seeking a seasoned production supervisor to oversee warehouse and truck operations, ensuring seamless production processes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and direct employees in the production department, guaranteeing adequate coverage at all times.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate pickup schedules, optimize truck routes, and expedite donated items without damage.
  • Ensure timely completion of store deliveries and accurate manifest recording.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse, systematically removing trash and preventing accumulation.
  • Collaborate with bale sales coordinators to schedule pickups and monitor production loading.
  • Oversee sorting processes, implementing effective systems for hanging, tagging, pricing, shipping, and seasonal storage.
  • Expedite furniture cleaning, sanitizing, tagging, and shipping to thrift stores.
  • Compile and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required by policy.
  • Staff warehouses and trucks adequately, interviewing and recommending personnel as needed.
  • Evaluate dispatch and warehouse staff regularly, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Salvation Army safety policies and government regulations.
