About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Officer to join our team at Orygen. As a key member of our Service Implementation and Quality Improvement team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and improvement of youth mental health services nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project management, including developing timelines, coordinating activities, and ensuring deliverables are on time and within scope.
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of webinars, events, and secondary consultation programs.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, building relationships with national networks, including government and service providers and young people with lived experience.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans and analyze data to inform project outcomes.
  • Assist in preparing project reports, progress updates, and developing infographics to document youth mental health service models.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in a relevant health discipline.
  • Experience of planning and coordinating projects and proven ability to write high-quality reports, case studies, and resources tailored to different audiences.
  • Understanding of program evaluation and quality assurance methodologies and proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the mental health system and deep commitment to making a positive impact on young people's lives through improved mental health services.
What We Offer
  • $75,000 – $85,000 base or award level + 11.5% super + access to $15,900 NFP salary packaging.
