Job Overview

The Building Services Coordinator is a pivotal role in providing robust security services to government departments. As a member of the Queensland Police Service, you will be part of a highly motivated and professional team dedicated to community safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, building occupants, and the general public to deliver exceptional security services.
  • Exercise powers pursuant to relevant legislation and follow established procedures.
  • Review, develop, and maintain protocols for building security and the safety of persons within the building.
  • Coordinate training and provide direction in emergency procedures and building safety programs.
  • Operate computerized systems and provide reports on electrical, mechanical, fire, lift, and security systems.
  • Foster an equitable, fair, and customer-focused workplace by leading, supervising, and developing subordinate officers.

Requirements:

  • Current First Aid Medical Certificate.
  • Successful completion of the Protective Services Officers Course.
