Sunrise Health Service is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Executive Team in the Katherine region of Northern Australia. This unique opportunity involves overseeing the operational and administrative functions of the organisation, providing leadership across clinical services, workforce development, compliance, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement.

">About the Role:">

The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and be responsible for driving the delivery of high-quality, culturally safe primary health care services across remote Aboriginal communities. Key responsibilities include translating strategic goals into effective operational plans, leading a multidisciplinary team, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, overseeing budgeting, capital planning, and financial reporting, and building strong relationships with Aboriginal communities and key stakeholders.

">Essential Skills and Qualifications:">
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Health Administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years' executive leadership experience in a health or community setting
  • Cultural competence and understanding of Aboriginal primary health care
  • Strong leadership, financial management, and compliance experience
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation
  • Knowledge of ISO, RACGP, and NDIS accreditation standards
  • Postgraduate qualifications in governance, leadership, or health management
