Job Description:

This is an exceptional opportunity to become a skilled Senior Project Manager with expertise in Tier 2 construction projects.

The role involves overseeing daily project delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely completion of construction projects, adhering to documented drawings, specifications, and nominated timeframes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive project plans and collaborating with the team
  • Project execution from inception through to completion
  • Maintaining adherence to construction programmes and delivering quality projects on time
  • Identifying and managing construction risks, escalating issues when necessary
  • Managing project expenditure and cash flow
  • Coordinating external engineering design aspects of projects
  • Design management
  • Supervising subcontractors on site
  • Ensuring HSEQ requirements are met throughout the project
  • Providing regular progress reports
  • Delivering exceptional client experiences

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in successfully delivering projects from start to finish with a builder/head contractor
  • Proven leadership skills in building and motivating teams
  • Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements
  • Strong project financial reporting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
