Meat Packer Job Description

We are excited to announce a new vacancy in our Meat Division on the Sunshine Coast.

This position is responsible for the timely packing of orders for customers across Queensland, working in a fast-paced environment.

The role starts on a casual basis, Monday to Friday from 4am to 12 noon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle processed meat products with care and attention.
  • Pack meat into bags and boxes efficiently.
  • Work in temperature-controlled environments, such as chillers and freezers, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Liaise effectively with internal staff to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the meat industry is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a chiller or freezer environment, adapting to changing temperatures.
  • High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in every aspect.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
