About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cemetery Maintenance Team Leader to lead our team in maintaining and enhancing council-controlled cemeteries within Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of cemetery maintenance professionals
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in lawn maintenance, preferably in a cemetery environment
  • Valid manual driver's license
  • White card
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
