Product Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Commercial Team.

  • This role involves developing and executing product strategy in alignment with the fund's vision, member needs and industry trends.
  • The Product Manager will have end-to-end ownership of fund financial and growth performance, including profit-and-loss statement, revenue monitoring and cost management.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating closely with senior leadership and investment teams to align product offerings with the fund's investment strategy.
  2. Reviewing, monitoring and enhancing the insurance offer as part of Legalsuper's market offering.
  3. Driving end-to-end product development to ensure competitive returns and regulatory compliance, leveraging technology, data analytics and member feedback.
  4. Supporting the execution of the retirement income strategy by optimising products and member processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum of five years' experience in the financial services industry, particularly in product management, superannuation, investments or related fields.
  • Proven track record of leading product development initiatives in the superannuation or investment sector, with expertise in designing and managing complex financial products.
  • In-depth knowledge of superannuation legislative frameworks, investment management practices and industry trends.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, influencing diverse groups.
