The Assurance Manager plays a pivotal role within our Audit team, overseeing the planning and execution of financial audits. Key responsibilities include:
- Engagement scoping and objective setting in accordance with the Audit manual.
- Audit workpaper documentation and performance testing to ensure adequacy and appropriateness.
- Presentation of audit materials in a clear and logical manner.
- Review of workpapers, including time management and prioritization.
- Leading client engagements, encompassing planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage concurrent audits efficiently.
- Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared objectives.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of audit progress.
Candidates should possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- CA/CPA certification.
- Minimum six years of recent experience as an Auditor in a public practice firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in Accounting principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to write concise reports and present findings effectively.
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Autonomy and proactive working style.
