Underground Mechanical Fitter Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Underground Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a 6-month contract with potential for extension. The role involves working in a family-friendly and lifestyle roster, with 7 days on followed by 7 days off.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on underground fixed plant equipment, including conveyors, crushers, rock breakers, primary dewatering systems, primary ventilation systems, and hoisting and winder pump maintenance.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a trade certificate in mechanical fitting and have relevant experience in the mining industry. They must also hold current confined space entry, working at heights, gas test atmospheres, and construction card certifications. A fork lift ticket is an advantage, as is the ability to pass a full pre-employment medical.
