Overview

Join the Macmahon Underground team for the Majestic project. We are hiring workshop fitters and underground breakdown fitters. Enjoy the pace and new challenges as the mine grows, with rewards that only a greenfields project can offer. 7/7 roster, camp with great food and gym, and short travel from Kalgoorlie. Great job security and room to move/grow with Macmahon Underground.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain heavy diesel equipment for underground and workshop settings in a fast-paced greenfields environment. Perform servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance as required to keep mobile plant and related equipment operating safely and efficiently. Work collaboratively with the underground team to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

About you
  • 2 years+ recent experience as a HD Fitter Mechanic / Mobile Plant Fitter Mechanic
  • 2 years+ experience in an underground environment
  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate
  • Detailed knowledge of mining and safety regulations
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence - manual
