Underground Mechanical Fitter | FIFO 8/6 Roster

About The Role

Due to continued growth, Mader are currently seeking Underground Mechanical Fitters to join our Rostered Fixed Plant Maintenance Crews on an 8/6 roster. This is a FIFO role ex. Perth – Interstate candidates considered (Must make own way to Perth). Underground based position working on fixed plant equipment including fans, conveyors, pumps, motors & drilling equipment.

Key Duties

  • Fixed Plant Maintenance - planned & unplanned including breakdown repairs
  • Performing maintenance on crushers, conveyor systems, vibrating screens, pumps & more
  • Diagnostics & inspections

What do I need to join?

  • Prior underground experience
  • Trade Certificate
  • Drivers Licence
  • National Police Check within 6 months or willing to get
  • Hold current Working at Heights and Confined Space ticket
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Strong commitment towards safety and quality
