Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Principal Technical Marketing expert. In this role, you will work closely with operations and marketing teams to ensure the safe loading and transportation of traded commodities.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with maritime safety and product regulatory requirements. This involves proactively engaging with stakeholders across the business to maintain compliance and drive improvements in performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate compliance audits and risk assessments to maintain smooth operations.
  • Work with teams across the business to deliver consistent performance while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve competitiveness and maintain high standards.
  • Represent the company at industry events and collaborate with external associations to stay connected with sector developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in commodity marketing, mining, smelting, or similar heavy industry operations.
  • Regulatory compliance experience, including knowledge of international shipping requirements and safety data sheets.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with different teams and departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write technical documents and communicate complex requirements.
  • Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
