Role Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Director to join our team at EssenceMediacom. As a key member of our strategy team, you will play a critical role in delivering marketing breakthroughs for our clients.


About the Role



  • Develop breakthrough strategies across a range of clients, including adidas, Bayer, Dell, Google, Mars, PlayStation, The Coca-Cola Company, and Uber.
  • Work closely with our strategy team to engage with business leadership and deliver on client objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketplace counterparts to execute ideas and drive business growth.

Requirements



  • Strong base of knowledge across all media channels, including paid, owned, and earned media.
  • Comfortable working with data to pull actionable insights and translate them into planning lead implications and optimizations.
  • In-depth understanding of the latest research on media effectiveness and its impact on business growth.
  • Experience in audience and signal planning, with the ability to build audiences and translate them into segments for media activation.
  • Competency in working across planning tools, including audience planning, allocation, and optimization.
  • Ability to work with implementation teams to translate strategies into actionable plans for brands.
  • Ensure delivery of digital solutions that meet client business needs by working with implementation teams to fine-tune budget allocation and create media plans.
  • Build key relationships with client stakeholders in marketing, planning, and strategy.
  • Share thought leadership on media planning effectiveness with client teams.
