Our objective is to cultivate an orchestrated commerce environment for our partners, combining the agility of SaaS innovations with comprehensive payment services.
Role Overview
We are in search of a proactive Onboarding Consultant to manage the merchant application workflow across PayEngine's processing systems. This role entails overseeing the onboarding journey from the initial application to successful account activation. The Onboarding Consultant serves as a crucial link between the processor and the partner or merchant, depending on the solution in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the submission of merchant applications to processors, ensuring timely processing and resolution of any issues.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including processors, partners, and merchants, to facilitate smooth onboarding.
- Monitor and report on application statuses, ensuring all records are up-to-date across internal systems.
- Act as a subject matter expert on standard operating procedures for all PayEngine processors.
- Proactively identify potential onboarding challenges and escalate as necessary to prevent delays.
- Contribute to the development of quarterly reports and presentations for executive meetings.
- Continuously recommend enhancements to the onboarding process to improve the experience for both partners and merchants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in merchant services application processing with a reputable e-commerce processor.
- Experience in SaaS payment orchestration is advantageous.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
- Advanced skills in Google Suite tools, including Drive, Gmail, Calendar, and Sheets.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team member.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet stringent deadlines.
