Job Opportunity: Triage Nurse

A dynamic position is available for a skilled RN to work in a fast-paced team environment, identifying and triaging suitable patients while providing front-line care under the guidance of General Practitioners.

Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments to efficiently prioritize patient care.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and take decisive actions when necessary, ensuring prompt attention for patients requiring emergency assistance or experiencing health deterioration.
  • Offer healthcare education to patients as needed, promoting informed decision-making and self-care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, facilitating seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A clinical background in General Practice and/or Triage, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and understanding when interacting with patients and their families.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, leveraging critical thinking skills to drive patient-centered care.
  • Proven time management and prioritization abilities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and optimized patient outcomes.
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts and days, accommodating the needs of the clinic and its patients.
  • Ongoing commitment to professional development, maintaining current ALS/CPR certification and AHPRA registration.
