Job Summary

Mosaic Property Group is seeking an experienced Services Manager to lead and coordinate building services throughout all phases of a construction project.

This role involves:

  • Advising design and project teams during meetings and workshops to ensure seamless service integration.
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, installation plans, and equipment to meet project requirements.
  • Inspecting subcontractor work at milestones to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordinating temporary services and managing energising/de-energising procedures.
  • Addressing RFIs and liaising with authorities during site inspections.
  • Supporting tender evaluations, focusing on service coordination and value.
  • Contributing to construction programming to optimise workflow and minimise conflicts.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation and assisting with defect resolution and plan sealing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure building services are installed and commissioned in accordance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with design and project teams to integrate building services into the overall project plan.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and timeliness of subcontractor work.
  • Manage and coordinate temporary services and energising/de-energising procedures.
  • Liaise with authorities during site inspections to address any issues or concerns.
  • Support tender evaluations by providing input on service coordination and value.
  • Contribute to construction programming to optimise workflow and minimise conflicts.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and assist with defect resolution and plan sealing.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Building Services/Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or similar.
  • Proven experience as a Services Manager on large scale multi-level residential or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of building services systems – mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection & detection.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication – strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to grow and develop.
