Venue Manager

This is a key leadership position that oversees the day-to-day operations of gaming and hospitality venues. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of daily activities, maintaining high standards of service quality, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee venue operations, including food, beverage, TAB, gaming, and Keno.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with shift management, including open, mid, and close shifts.
- Lead, motivate, and train staff to achieve exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
- Manage cash handling, reconciliations, and stock control processes.
- Promote responsible gaming practices and uphold service standards.
- Report incidents, irregularities, and maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming or hospitality leadership roles.
- Current Victorian Gaming Licence and RSA/RSG certification.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and time management skills.
- Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available).
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Knowledge of GFR Pro is an advantage.
- Reliability is essential.
