Warehouse Operations Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

About the Role
  • Lead and motivate a team of approximately 30 operators to achieve high levels of productivity and quality
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve process efficiency and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of warehouse functions, including receiving, dispatch, and inventory management
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure employee safety and adherence to safety policies and procedures
  • Mentor and support team members to achieve development and performance goals
  • Inventory Management, ordering, cycle counting & discrepancy investigations
  • Oversee specialist functions including kitting, manufacturing, and hose production
  • Implement continuous improvement of production efficiencies, equipment maintenance, and processes as well as ensuring product quality standards are adhered to and production targets are being met
  • Provide quality customer service
  • Plan and schedule resources in line with fluctuating workload
  • Solve problems to ensure customers receive parts on time and as required
Requirements
  • Supervisor experience within a warehouse environment (desired)
  • Experience leading teams and driving organisational change
  • Experience using SAP, Scale or DBS (desired)
  • A dedicated approach to maintaining Safety for yourself and your team
  • Strong people skills able to interact, engage, and connect with people from all paths of life
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
  • Strong planning and organising skills
