We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Specialist to join our Queensland sales team.
This role will involve identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth in the weighing, inspection, and calibration sector. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of service contracts.
- Conducting market research, lead generation, and networking to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintaining relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry influencers.
- Providing technical guidance and delivering solutions that meet customer needs.
- Generating sales proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience supplying service-related offerings into an industrial market.
- Strong customer service skills, including accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proven sales achievement record and capital sales experience.
- Ability to analyse customer needs and deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Proficiency in CRM usage and the Microsoft suite.
