Regulatory Change Manager Position

This role drives the implementation and improvement of compliance frameworks across the business, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
A highly motivated and experienced Regulatory Change Manager is sought to join our Risk team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The Manager will work collaboratively across the organisation to design and test the implementation of risk and compliance frameworks, lead the identification and assessment of upcoming legislative and regulatory changes, support their implementation, and ensure they are effectively integrated into business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess upcoming legislative and regulatory changes.
- Support the implementation of regulatory change initiatives.
- Deliver impact assessments and contribute to steering committees and forums.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed regulatory change into decision-making.
- Manage external consultants and contractors supporting regulatory change.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory requirements.
About You:
- 3–5 years' experience in risk advisory, regulatory interpretation, or change management.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, legislative and regulatory requirements in financial services.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation.
- Tertiary qualification in commerce or law (or equivalent experience).
- Superannuation and/or financial services experience highly regarded.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
