We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Climbing Arborist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in tree care and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Job Summary:

As a Climbing Arborist, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently climbing trees to prune and remove branches, using a variety of equipment including bucket trucks, claw trucks, chippers, pole saws, pruning saws, power pole saws, and chainsaws.

Responsibilities:

  • Climb trees to prune and remove branches
  • Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, claw trucks, chippers, pole saws, pruning saws, power pole saws, and chainsaws
  • Maintain and repair equipment and tools
  • Lead a 2-person pruning crew while completing pruning & removal projects
  • Ensure all appropriate tools, supplies, and materials are loaded on truck, well maintained and accounted for
  • Communicate verbally and visually with all members of the crew
  • Assist in debris cleanup at job completion

Requirements:

  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude
  • Valid driver's license required, CDL class A or B License with airbrake endorsement preferred
  • At least 18 years old
  • Minimum of 3-5 years climbing experience and/or 5 years documented foreman experience
  • Advanced knowledge of proper tree pruning and removal techniques
  • Ability to complete labor-intensive outdoor work with exposure to a variety of weather conditions
  • Ability to navigate uneven terrain, stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and lift in excess of 50lbs on a regular basis
