Job Title: Tree Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals to fill the role of Tree Maintenance Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for addressing tree root issues that impact infrastructure and buildings.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Horticulture, Arboriculture, or Civil Engineering and be looking for a new challenge. This role offers long-term career prospects in a highly specialized area.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Cutting sealed surfaces using demo saws - removal and disposal
  • Operating air spade excavation tools
  • Manual, hydro, and mechanical excavation of trenches
  • Safely operating demo saws and chainsaws
  • Performing open space maintenance works as required, including tree planting, watering, minor concrete, and asphalt work
  • Capturing images of all works, pre, during, and post job
  • Assisting in instructing and guiding apprentices, tradespeople, and laborers
  • Driving and maintaining equipment (trailer-mounted machine, light trucks, tip-truck, excavator, Bobcat)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Cert III in Horticulture, Arboriculture, or Landscaping
  • Current Driver's License
  • MR/HR License
  • Chainsaw Certification
  • Spotters Certification
  • Bobcat License
  • Excavator License
  • Hydro/NDD Experience
  • Police Check
  • Working With Children Card
