Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to take on a strategic role within our operations. As a Group Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial and operational leadership across warehousing and transport operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide commercial and operational leadership with full P&L accountability and a focus on customer retention, growth and service excellence.
  • Build and strengthen strategic customer relationships, identifying opportunities for expansion and innovation within existing partnerships.
  • Translate high-level business objectives into executable operational strategies, fostering a culture of agility, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Lead geographically dispersed cross-functional teams, developing talent and championing a high-performance, customer-first mindset.
  • Oversee operating budgets and guide teams to optimise warehousing processes, equipment utilisation and resource planning.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within warehousing and transport operations.
  • A strong commercial mindset with a thorough understanding of rate structures, cost-to-serve, P&L management, and performance analytics.
  • A proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, foster trusted customer partnerships and lead contract execution.
  • A record of building and mentoring diverse, high-performing teams across multiple locations.
  • A continuous improvement orientation with strong analytical, systems and process thinking capabilities.
