Senior Mental Health Care Specialist

Key Position Overview
As a senior mental health professional, you will contribute to our multidisciplinary team providing specialist mental health support to women experiencing moderate to severe mental health concerns during pregnancy and the first year of their baby's life.
This role involves working collaboratively with consumers, families, and service providers to support mental health and wellbeing during the perinatal period. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in service development, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary collaboration across the district and broader community sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, strengths-focused, recovery-oriented assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Carry a clinical caseload, appropriate to the needs of the service.
