Senior Mental Health Specialist

This role requires an experienced clinician to work as part of the Assertive Suicide Prevention Outreach Team in a mental health service.
- Deliver high-quality mental health interventions and contribute to improving patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care services.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Qualifications in social work, occupational therapy, psychology or nursing with post-graduate qualifications and experience.
- Demonstrated extensive clinical experience in suicide and mental health interventions, including knowledge of consumer-focused practices.
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal abilities and proactive engagement with patients/staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need strong clinical expertise and excellent communication skills. You should also have a commitment to reducing suicides in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions to consumers in crisis.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care services.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to education and training for staff on mental health topics.
