Assistant Director for Cancer Care Coordination

Hudson Australia seeks a seasoned EL1 Assistant Director to lead a small team dedicated to improving cancer care and coordination across Australia.
About the Role:
- Lead a team of two APS6 staff, driving the implementation and growth of the Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network (ACCN), a national initiative that connects stakeholders across the cancer care sector.
- Provide secretariat support to the ACCN Committee, overseeing stakeholder engagement, coordination, and the management of the ACCN portal.
- Manage internal deliverables such as project management, presentation inputs, and reporting.
- Contribute to the broader strategic vision for cancer care, working closely with other teams and key stakeholders within the Health Portfolio.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 - $160,000 AUD per annum, depending on location and experience.
About You:
- You will need to demonstrate significant leadership experience, including managing a team and driving strategic initiatives to successful outcomes.
- A strong understanding of the health system is essential.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required, with the ability to influence decisions and build long-term relationships.
