**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly adaptable and self-starting Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Melbourne for an initial 6-month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, agile environment where digital solutions drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to engage with both technical and business teams with ease, and ready to take ownership of key projects from day one.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment on objectives and project deliverables.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa, ensuring clear communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative development processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, identifying opportunities for process improvements and offering actionable insights based on data and feedback.
  • Collaborate with multiple business units, helping teams tackle complex challenges and deliver impactful digital solutions.
  • Proactively identify issues, ask insightful questions, and take ownership of initiatives from start to finish.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Digital business experience, preferably in a company with a large online presence.
  • A solid understanding of agile methodologies and comfort working with various digital tools and technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving business landscape.
  • Consultative mindset to independently pick up complex problems and drive them forward with minimal supervision.
  • A positive attitude and ability to contribute to a positive team culture.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in a digital-first environment.
