The Associate Professor / Professor Emergency and Critical Care Nursing: Conjoint Position will provide leadership, fostering excellence in research, teaching, engagement, and professional activities. The role involves providing vision and strategic direction for the School of Nursing & Midwifery (SONM) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD), promoting innovation and research in critical care nursing.
">The incumbent will allocate 50% of their time to UTS and 50% to NSLHD, working collaboratively with both organizations to achieve shared goals.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Foster a culture of excellence in research, teaching, and engagement within the School of Nursing & Midwifery">
- Provide strategic direction for the School's research agenda, ensuring alignment with the university's research priorities">
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with the Northern Sydney Local Health District, ensuring collaborative research and education initiatives">
- Lead the development of innovative research projects, securing funding and resources to support these initiatives">
- Mentor and supervise higher degree research students, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of their research programs">
- Collaborate with colleagues across the university and healthcare sector to develop and deliver high-quality educational programs">
- Contribute to the development of policy and procedures related to research, teaching, and engagement, ensuring alignment with university and industry standards">
Requirements:

- PhD in nursing or a related discipline">
- APHRA Registration as a nurse">
- Evidence of successful leadership in course design and delivery">

- A competitive salary package, including base salary range $183,507 - $201,165 pa (Level D) or $228,179 pa (Level E)">
