Critical Care Nursing Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the intensive care unit.
About the Position
As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered care that promotes identified health outcomes. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
You will have the opportunity to rotate across four ICUs (Cardiothoracic, Neuroscience, and General) as part of our comprehensive training program. This program aims to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to care for ICU/HDU patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality patient care that meets the needs of individuals and families
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Participating in ongoing professional development to maintain competence and enhance skills
Necessary Qualifications
- Current nursing registration with the relevant board
- Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills
