As a specialist in environmental compliance, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients on complex projects.

We are seeking a technical expert to expand our practices in environmental auditing, land contamination assessment, hazardous ground gas management, remediation, human health risk assessments, water resources, sustainability, and compliance litigation support.

You will provide support to our Independent Environmental Audit and Due Diligence practice areas, working in a collaborative culture that fosters innovation and challenge.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental compliance audits for state significant development/infrastructure projects, environmental protection licenses, or other requirements according to AS/NZS ISO 19011:2018 guidelines.
  • Prepare audit programs, consult with stakeholders, conduct audit meetings, field and site audits, and prepare audit reports.
  • Prepare and review construction environmental management plans and subplans.
  • Support projects involving due diligence, historical research, data-room reviews, and report preparation.
  • Manage tasks and projects, including proposal preparation, planning, budgeting, financial management, reporting, quality reviews, and client liaison.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in client development, marketing efforts, and growth of the compliance practice area.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum 2 years of environmental and compliance consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary project teams (preferred).
  • Familiarity with construction environmental management plans and subplans (preferred).
  • Understanding of State legislation and Post Approval Requirements (preferred).
