Senior Finance Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Specialist to join our finance team in Brisbane. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in managing and optimising the company's financial resources to support operations.

About the Role:
  • Maintain and forecast cash flow, ensuring liquidity, and manage foreign exchange (FX) exposure in alignment with corporate policies and market conditions.
  • Monitor daily cash positions across the group, prepare regular treasury and risk reports, and advise leadership on financial risk positions.
  • Support treasury operations, including dealing and settlement of FX transactions, hedge reconciliation, derivative valuation, bank reconciliation in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Execute and enhance treasury systems, processes, and controls.
  • Manage drawdowns and repayments of funding facilities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and reporting efficiency through automation or system upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to support scalability and knowledge transfer across the finance team.
About You:
  • 3+ years' experience in a treasury or related role within either bank, non-bank or M&A/Corporate advisory consulting firms.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Fully or part-qualified CA/CPA/CFA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, FX risk management, and financial instruments.
  • Proficient in Excel (including financial modelling), and previous experience with treasury systems.
