Home Care Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team.

About You

You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients with their daily needs, including:

  • Assisting with personal care such as showers, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitoring medication and ensuring timely administration
  • Shopping and preparing meals
  • Housekeeping and maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Providing respite care and social support
  • Transporting clients to appointments

Key Responsibilities

As a Home Care Assistant, you will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences. This may involve:

  • Developing personalized care plans that cater to the client's requirements
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients who may be experiencing isolation or loneliness

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • A National Police Clearance Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence (provisional Licence accepted)
  • A clean, reliable, and registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • A smartphone
