Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dining Service Professional to join our team at IIQAF. As a Waiter or Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and escort customers to their tables, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information on menu items, including ingredients and portion sizes.
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses, and inform customers about daily specials.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders, using a POS ordering system or by memorization.
  • Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, and report any issues to the management.
  • Deliver checks and collect bill payments, and maintain a tidy dining area.
  • Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations.
  • Follow all relevant health department regulations and maintain a high level of customer service.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with a cash register and ordering information system.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Active listening and effective communication skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Team spirit and flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma and food safety training a plus.
