We are seeking a skilled Dining Service Professional to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests at IIQAF.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent service, working well under pressure, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, and ensuring that orders are accurate and delivered promptly.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to multitask, work effectively in a team environment, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and escort customers to their tables
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses
  • Inform customers about the day's specials
  • Offer menu recommendations upon request
  • Up-sell additional products when appropriate
  • Take accurate food and drinks orders
  • Check customers' IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
  • Serve food and drink orders
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
  • Deliver checks and collect bill payments
  • Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning
  • Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials and service specifications
  • Follow all relevant health department regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Dining Service Professional
  • Hands-on experience with a cash register and ordering information system
  • Basic math skills
  • Attentiveness and patience for customers
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Active listening and effective communication skills
