Parks Operative Role

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to join our team in providing quality maintenance services for parks, gardens, and public trees.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including:

  • Carrying out park maintenance activities
  • Maintaining trees and their surroundings
  • Undertaking garden upkeep
  • Controlling weeds and managing vegetation
  • Removing rubbish and waste
  • Designing and implementing landscaping solutions
  • Planting street trees
  • Repairing and maintaining park furniture and equipment
  • Making safe damaged infrastructure and surfaces
  • Providing cleansing services

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A valid Class MR Driver's License
  • Completion of a WH&S General Induction (White Card) program

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine park maintenance tasks
  • Conduct tree inspections and maintenance work
  • Undertake garden design and implementation projects

  • Remove rubbish and waste from parks and gardens
  • Install and maintain park furniture and equipment
  • Ensure damaged infrastructure and surfaces are made safe
  • Provide cleansing services as required

Requirements

  • Current Class MR Driver's License
  • Completed WH&S General Induction (White Card)
